About

Since the dialysis non drama is over, I figured I'd change this to an anything or whatever blog. Could still be dialysis related,... or not

#RUTR Update

I got my first non game cup today, which means supplies are running out. NOOO!! Good thing there are seven Tim’s locations in Charlottetown, nine if you include the Winsloe Irving and the Stratford Home Hardware store. I can just go to another location. Once they are all out of cups, it’s time for me to switch to Iced Caps anyway.

I’ll keep my tally going until I can’t get game cups anymore. Each store only gets so many. Keeping a tally is actually showing me that I drink far too much Tim’s anyway. I should probably cut down, but I doubt I will.

When my brother and I drove to New York in 2007, on the way home, we stopped at a Tim’s in Connecticut. It’s a funny story, really. We were driving along, and I was listening to the radio. I believe it was NPR, and they were talking about the Virginia Tech shootings. My brother was driving. I was engrossed in the radio, and suddenly my brother raised his arms in victory, off the steering wheel, mind you, and cheered. I looked at him, and asked him what the heck that was all about. He said, “I just saw a Tim Horton’s sign. We’re stopping.” It was a little spot in a gas station, and they were out of game cups too. The date was April 18. Thank goodness there are Tim Horton’s in New York City now. It used to be the first thing I did when getting off the plane in Canada, go get my Tim’s fix.

Hopefully, the store I went to being out of game cups is a rarity, as there’s still a month and a half left to the promotion. I hope your local Tim’s has game cups.

Happy Rolling!
